It Starts with A Phone Call
When you call Summit, one of our relocation specialists will be on the other end to receive you. Relocation specialists are our customer-business liaisons that are both sociable and knowledgeable. They will be able to fill you in on any information regarding our services, rates, and availability. You will be asked about your move, your desired moving date, and what services you may require. From there, the relocation specialists will ask to schedule an at-home survey by one of our moving consultants.
Meet with A Moving Consultant
On whichever day and time you choose, a moving consultant will come to your location to conduct a brief survey. This survey will cover all of the belongings you will need to be moved to your new location. At this time, the moving consultant may offer any last-minute additional services you may require. Once all the relevant information is gathered, you will receive an accurate, honest estimate for the job.
We realize that social distancing is still being practiced all over the state. If you are unable to meet with one of our consultants, for whatever reason, you are still able to get a quote from our site.
Calander Your Move
If you find our quotes to be agreeable, the next step is to schedule your move with us. In order for us to be able to cater to your desired moving date, we ask that you contact us at least four weeks prior to that date. This will allow us more than enough time to come up with a gameplan to take on your relocation. A separate, earlier date will be planned if you need any assistance in packing your belongings beforehand. You are encouraged to reach out to us anytime before the move for confirmation and any questions or concerns you may have.
Let’s Get Movin’
Your moving team will arrive at your location bright and early on the day of the move. Without a doubt, it is important to make sure you get plenty of sleep the night before. Our movers work quickly to make sure everything that is coming along is boxed up and ready to go. Once everything is situated, your home will be prepared for the removal of the cargo. We will place down floor coverings, padding, and rug runners to make sure no damage is done as we begin the moving process. All furniture items will also be covered in protective blankets to the same effect.
As soon as the last box is loaded onto the truck, we will depart for your new location. You will be advised to take one last walk throughout the home before we depart to make sure everything that needs moving is gone. Afterward, we will meet up at the new spot, where you will be able to direct our crew on where everything needs to be placed.
